Last year, the Holiday Shopping Card event, now in its 16th year, sold over 12,000 cards and raised over $1 million through the sale of cards and generous underwriting support. The event is one of two major fundraising initiatives of VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society. Founded in 1987 and now with over 130 active volunteer members, VICTORY raises funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services in the Houston area. Since its inception, VICTORY has raised over $30 million for the American Cancer Society.
